Attending conferences for hospitalists is suggested to make certain you have the latest clinical knowledge, skills, technology, and leadership for treating acutely ill patients.

Hospitalists are a growing breed of internal medicine clinicians who meet the complex needs of people admitted to hospitals for wide-ranging conditions. According to the BLS, there are 44,000 hospitalists working at 89 percent of U.S. medical centers with 200+ beds. Becker’s Hospital Review reports that hospitalists deliver 67 percent of the over 50 million inpatient services each year. Conferences are an excellent way to collaborate with fellow hospitalists and share clinical techniques that may save lives.
